Using TEXTFILL

 Have you sometimes encountered a scenario, when you plot your drawing then the TEXT in your drawing appeared only as an outline? (Fig.1) but if you look at it in AutoCAD it is appear as normal filled text. This happen specially if you are using the ARIAL type kind of fonts.

Free AutoLisp Routine (Text Transfer)

I think it is safe to say that, most of the advance AutoCAD users, knows how to use AutoLisp, they might even know how to do a routine by themselves as well.  Just like some of my colleagues, back in the previous company that I’ve been work with. Some of my colleagues there are AutoLisp fanatics, they even develop an AutoLisp routine of their own. And I can even say that I know how to do a AutoLisp routine, albeit not that complex as some of my colleagues does.

How to Change Dimension Text in AutoCAD

While doing some visitor tracking in this CAD blog, I came across with a search query “how to change dimension text” in this site’s referral url. Which makes me wonder, what does the searcher really need to know, when he/she makes that search. Is the searcher wants to change the Text content of the dimension or was he/she wants to change te properties of the text in the dimension?.
