Underlining a Text in AutoCAD

underlineSometimes putting a mark or putting a note in our drawing is necessary, specially if you want to specify something, then highlighting it, in order to notice it easily. In my case, whenever this  kind of scenarios arises, I always put an Underline and OverLine on my Text or Mtext, as a highlighter, making it easier to caught the readers of my drawing’s attention.

There are several ways to calculate or obtain the area and perimeter of an object in AutoCAD. And one of these ways is by using the AREA command. You can find it under the Tools pulldown menu, then Inquiry. Or at the command prompt, type Area.

How to modify a Viewport

Sometimes, you want to modify your viewport in your drawing, you want to redefined it from a simple rectangular shape to any irregular shapes. Well you can always modify the boundary of your layout viewport, just by using the command VPCLIP. And you can find it at the Modify pulldown menu, under Clip, then viewport. Or just type VPCLIP at the command prompt.

Using SuperHatch

Probably, the best newly added features of express tools on AutoCAD architecture 2008 is the SuperHatch. Many might not agree with me, but for me, this is one of the coolest if not, one of the best addition on AutoCAD so far.
