Using Change Text Case (TCASE)

Another great routine addition, that I had recently discover in AutoCAD Express tools, that I think will also be useful to us AutoCAD user, is the command Change Text Case. Change Text Case, changes the case of any selected text, mtext, attributes and dimension text.

You can find change text case under the express pulldown menu, then under the text. Alternatively, you can just type TCASE in the command prompt. Then the command prompt will ask you to select objects, then just select any annotation object that you want to change the case.

After you selected a text, a dialogue box will appear, from there you can select any option available from the dialogue box. Your options are, Sentence case, lower case, UPPER CASE, Title and even tOGGLE cASE.

Not sure though, if this routine is available in earlier version of AutoCAD, like AutoCAD 2007 ~ 2004, I discover this routine while using AutoCAD Architecture 2008.

About change case, I had an article talking about it. Actually if you select the text and click CTRL + SHIFT +U u would change it all to uppercase. CTRL + SHIFT + L would change it all to lowercase.
BTW I added you in my http://www.CAD-Addict.com “Blogs I read section” I think you have an interesting website. Hope you do the same!
